Harvest methods were primitive as the wheat was bunched, shocked, thrashed, and milled in small batches for freshness. All this equates to a nutrient dense and high-quality product.
Beneficial nutrients of the whole grain remain intact, bringing out a deep, nutty flavor. This whole grain wheat is excellent prepared in breads, muffins, pancakes, pizza crust. For a lighter, fluffier bread, use 1/2 whole grain wheat, 1/2 all purpose flour.
